What is TheraLoom?

TheraLoom is an independent talent network that connects therapy, rehabilitation, special education and developmental care professionals with the clinics, schools and centres hiring them across the UAE and India. We are not an employer or a recruitment agency. We review both sides and make relevant introductions.

Is TheraLoom free for candidates?

Yes. TheraLoom is completely free for candidates. There are no fees to join the network, upload your CV, or be introduced to an employer. We never charge therapists, educators or care professionals at any stage.

Which roles does TheraLoom cover?

Speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, ABA and behaviour therapists, registered behaviour technicians, psychologists and counsellors, special educators, shadow teachers, learning support assistants, early intervention therapists, physiotherapists, developmental paediatricians, and clinic coordination and admin roles.

Which countries does TheraLoom cover?

Our operational focus is the UAE, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and much of our talent is based in India. Candidates can also register interest in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia.

Do I need a licence to work as a therapist in the UAE?

Yes. Therapists must be licensed by the authority for the emirate where they will work: DHA in Dubai, DOH in Abu Dhabi, or MOHAP in the Northern Emirates. Some counselling and psychotherapy roles are licensed instead by CDA in Dubai or DCD in Abu Dhabi. Requirements and fees change, so always confirm directly with the relevant authority.

Is my CV shared publicly?

No. Your CV is never published and employers cannot browse profiles. We share your details only with clinics, schools or centres we have reviewed, only where the role is relevant to you, and only with your consent. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

How do employers get candidates from TheraLoom?

Tell us the role, location, experience and specialisms you need. We review the network and send you matching, vetted profiles. There is no browsing, no sign-up and no obligation. Posting a requirement is free during our launch phase.

Does TheraLoom guarantee a job or placement?

No. Uploading your CV does not guarantee that we will contact you, arrange an interview, or place you in a role. Opportunities depend on demand and suitability. Employers remain responsible for verifying qualifications, licences, references and eligibility to work.
